Itinerary

Divin' Into the Pacific

We’re taking the plunge and going around the world, but not all over the world.  As much as we’d love to hit every continent, we are still strapped by our budget, time and our personal lists of “must-sees”.  When we started talking about this trip, the sky was the limit!  Then, reality set in and we started trimming away until we could trim no more.

So, Australia, Africa, Antarctica, and our other top-choice destinations-Iceland, Denmark, China, and Vietnam-as much as we’ll be in close proximity to you, we will have to see you next time.

So, with that, our route is pretty set: 6 months of living, breathing, obsessing over where to go and what to do has made our final itinerary pretty solid.  Of course, we may just scrap it all once we hit the road, but here’s what we’ve planned:

  1. Wow!!! so you’re finally leaving…I’m looking forward to seeing you again, hope I can come to Munich as well!

    • Anna, we plan on seeing you no matter what, whether it be in Munich or Sassuolo! We can’t wait!

  2. hope that you guys are enjoying yourselves in london and that your bodies are adjusting to the time. looking forward to following your adventures!

  3. Hey guys! I hope you’re both are having fun and are not stranded by that Icelandic volcano! I think I’m going to try to book my tickets for Germany soon. What dates and airports should I be aiming for?

    Cheers!

    • Hi Johnny! Fortunately, we were in South America by the time the volcano erupted. We were really lucky. Although being stranded in Europe would have not been the worst thing in the world. :) But, we are definitely happy to have made it to our next destination without any hiccups.

  4. I like the heavy Asian itinerary. I hope you can do it all in eight months. Maybe we’ll see you on the road?

    • Maybe we might. It’s a small world. I’ve already met people from high school randomly in Buenos Aires, and another old acquaintance in Lima.

  5. Have you been here in the Philippines? There are a lot of must-see places here. =)

    • Hi Khaye. You are definitely right about the PI. My wife and I go there often to visit family and there will be more chances to travel there in the future.
