So, first, we’d like to thank Vincent at singlestrokechime for finding us worthy of this award. Vincent’s blog is full of his own wonderful travel adventures and photography. One of his posts I particularly enjoyed was his wife’s collection of Precious Moments figurines. It transported me back to when I was a nine year old girl. Oh, how I coveted them so much! It brought a smile to my face as I remembered how I’d stare at the catalog for hours and hours, and pray for the day that I could afford them. Thanks for bringing me back to a time of innocence and Precious Moments!
Seven random facts about us:
1) Jay and I have known each other for 10 years, and we’ve been married for 5.
2) The last live band we saw was Yo La Tengo. Other than their wretched re-enactment of an entire episode of Spongebob Squarepants, they rocked!
3) Jay and I are the same height. We be short!
4) We prefer tea to coffee, beer to cocktails, sparkling water to still water.
5) We try not to begin our sentences with, “When we were traveling….”
6) We both have degrees in the science and math field, but we are artists at heart.
7) Even as we grow older, it’s still hard to keep our feet on the ground. We are born dreamers.
